The South China Morning Post is an English language newspaper in Hong Kong, founded in 1903.

Its former flag was flown on its newspaper delivery boat (originally a steam launch, later a motor launch, both named 'Morning Post'). It was also flown at the SCMP Building at 3 Wyndham Street from just after World War II until it moved out of that premise in 1971.

Interestingly, the current 'brandmark' of SCMP, adopted in 2018, is based on the International Code of Signals Letter K, chosen for its meaning of "I wish to communicate with you".
