It is a white flag, divided by two green equilateral trapeziums at the top
and bottom end. In the centre of the flag is a green disc with a white crescent
and three 5-point stars. A green inscription “Misr”(= Egypt) is in Latin
capitals at the hoist and in Arab (مصر) at the fly.
