The pennant is white with a red building with turret, embattled wall and topped by a cross, shifted to hoist. It is derived from the city arms of Fåborg.

The pennant is is parted per chevron pointing to fly, a t hoist white a sailing ship blue, at fly simply red. Fakse Ladeplads or Faxe Ladeplads is located at the namesake bay and is home of one of Denmark´s well known breweries.
