Coat of arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. The 1st field shows three golden(=yellow) tops of croziers (German: Abtkrümmen) ordered horizontally. The 2nd field shows a red heraldic demi-rose, seeded golden(=yellow).
Meaning:
It is presumed, that "Abtkrümmen", more or less croziers without stick, had been insignia of an abbot. According to source they are reminding at the former monastery Liesborn, established by the Benedictinian order. The rose is symbolizing the barons of Lippe, who had been administrators of that monastery. The colours of the flag and the coat of arms are those of the archbishopric of Münster, and of nowadays Warendorf county as well.

Description of coat of arms:
In a red shield is a golden (= yellow) church tower flanked by two men dressed in a white frock.
Meaning:
Unknown, Liesborn is seat of an abbey of the Benedictian Order. So maybe the two figures are Bendictians presenting the model of a church to be erected.
