Renaissance shield, issuant from a Renaissance inescutcheon Gules with three piles Argent, a female saint Argent, crowned Or, holding a sceptre Or in her right hand and a Latin cross Or in her left hand.
Meaning:
The inescutcheon displays the Franconian rake and is referring to the Bishopric of Würzburg, to which the village historically belonged. The female saint is St. Helena. She probably had been the former local patron saint. Nowadays she is still name giver of the local pharmacy.
