Shield Argent a strawberry twig Vert with two berries Gules, chief Azure a fish Argent.
Meaning:
The fish is symbolising the location on the shores of the Starnberger See, a lake, furthermore the importance of fishery in the past. The twig is taken from the family arms of the Weiler of Garatshausen kin, who owned estates in Garatshausen since 1494 and ruled the namesake district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1565 and 1730, which included Feldafing. Later the owners changed a few times and finally in 1834 the district was acquired by the Dukes of Bayern from the Wittelsbach kin, which is represented by the tinctures white and blue.
