Vogt Municipal Coat of Arms

Shield Sable, a horse forcene Or bridled Gules, on his back a bearded rider Or with coat and hat Or and jackboots Gules.
Meaning:
After WW2 the municipality first used a coloured stamp, displaying Jesus in the posture of the Good Shepherd. Since 1949 the local council applied for a coat of arms. The rider is a reeve (German: Vogt) and was considered to be canting. He is also alluding to the fact that the village was ruled by the Austrian Reeves of Schwaben in the past.

The banner was approved on 26 June 1981 by the county administration, published in GABl 352/1982. The arms were approved on 22 February 1951 by Minister of Interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern.
