Meaning:
The old seals of the town, the oldest dating from 1622, all disply an oak leaf, as the village historically belonged to the Dreieich Forest Estate, Dreieich meaning "three oaks". On the seals the tree is rising from clear roots. The arms were officially approved in 1953.
