Description of flag:
The ratio is 3:5. The flag is horizontally divided green over white over green with ratio 1:3:1. The coat of arms is in the white stripe shifted to the hoist.

Description of banner:
The banner is vertically divided green - white - green with ratio 1:3:1. The coat of arms is in the white stripe shifted to the top.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per bend into silver(=white) and green. In the green field is ahorse forcene Argent and in chief a bar wavy Argent, , in the silver(=white) field is a green tree.
Meaning:
According to Veddeler 2003, p.146 both parts are canting and symbolizing the both settlements, which had been untied in 1970. The horse and the wavy line are symbolizing Herzebrock, which means "horse brook" or "horse meadow". The tree is symbolizing the dissolved municipality of Clarholz. Its name is derived from "Kleoholt", which means "hague upon loamy ground".

Flag, banner and coat of arms were approved by Regierungspräsident Detmold on 3 September 1970. The municipality Herzebrock was renamed into Herzebrock-Clarholz later in 1985.
