Green color: recalls the field, the etymology of the word "Carhué", which in Mapuche means green place, characteristic of the entire area to which the party belongs.
The keys: represent the strategic importance of the place, since Carhué constituted the Key to the Desert.
The blue ground: symbolizes the name of the Calfulcurá chief, which in the indigenous language means blue stone, who lived here with his empire.
El Caldén: hard and resistant tree that represents the brave officers and soldiers who with effort incorporated the desert into the territory of the Nation.
The Remingtons: they were the effective weapons used in the conquest.
The mural crown: placed above indicates its status as a city, the main city of the Carhué Party.
The crescent moon and the stars: they are attributes of the Virgin Mary and are in her honor since the city has her as patron under the invocation of Our Lady of the Forsaken.
