Description of the flag

The flag is a white field with a custom emblem in the center. It shows a simplistic scene of the sun rising over the horizon. A tree in the foreground and a few bushes on the sides of the emblem are also present. At the top of the emblem is the city and state names. On either sides are small gold ribbon with the incorporation year printed on the banner. At the bottom of the eblem is the town's nickname "Sunrise City," which is what the sun in the scene represents. On either side of the nickname are the same small banners on either side of the name, only with nothing inscribed on them.
