Back in 2002, the Iowa State Association of Counties website hosted an account of each county's history, signed by its County Recorder, and illustrated with a black and white flag image. It is not clear whether these flag images were provided by the county administration or not.

Archived copies of the pages about Lee County are still at web.archive.org/web/*/www.iowacounties.org/County+Info/History+Pages/lee.htm. It is a ~3:5 white(?) flag with a large emblem centered on it. The emblem consists of the county map outline with local landmarks on it and lettering reading "Lee County" in serif capitals. The landmarks are a farm with barn and wind powered water pump tower, at northwest, a wooden fort with flag pole and watch towers, at northeast, a school or court house with its flag, at center, and a dam (?), at south. All in dark colors (maybe monochrome).
