Description of the Flag

Marion Oaks is a master-planned development and a census-designated place located in Marion County. The community is served by various schools, as well as a fire department.

According to an employee of the Marion Oaks Community Center, whom also sent a photo of the flag, said it was designed over 20 years ago by a resident. The flag is a horizontal tribar of blue-white-red, though the blue and red bars are cut by white chevrons. In the center of the flag is the community name with a small oak branch separating the name. On either side of the flag is an Oak tree, which is what the community is named after.
