The National Police of Ukraine, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs, was created in July 2015 to replace the Soviet-era "Militsiya"
after the latter needed to be reformed after the events of the dissolution of
the Soviet Union but also after Euromaidan.
The Police flag was adopted
by Presidential Decree № 692/2015, enacted on December 9, 2015. The flag contains
the emblem of the police flag centered on a dark blue background. The ratio of
the flag is 2x3 and the size of the emblem is 7/9 of the width of the flag.

Listed on eBay: The blue-field flag of the Ukraine "Торнадо" (Tornado)
SWAT-police anti-terror unit.
William Garrison, 24 February 2022
The "Tornado" unit is no longer standing as of June 2015 due to an order by
the Ministry of Internal Affairs
(

However, it is possible to still purchase flags
of this unit online as modern reproductions.

An UFE worn as a patch on the helmet of a policeman in the ukrainian city of Severodonetsk. Because it
appears to be a black and [white] flag with a shield and a thin blue line in the middle, I wonder if this
might be the Ukrainian equivalent of the US Thin Blue Line Flag? (see DW News video at 0:41)
Marc Pasquin, 26 May 2022
I confirm that this patch is a Thin Blue Line (Тонка Синя Лінія)
with the Ukrainian flag and Tryzub (picture).
The patch, and also flag, is only made by this company.
