Town of Partenit is part of the Alushta
City, in Crimea Autonomous Republic, Ukraine. It has a
population of 6,391 in 2001. Its flag was adopted by the Town
Council on 31.08.2006. Authors are Maskevich O.I., Matskevich
S.N. and Konovalov V.I.
The flag is shown on the pages of Sevastopol's Heradic Society
"Gerakleya".

"It was confirmed in August, 31st, 2006. Rectangular panel
with ratio 2:3 is divided from the top corners to middle of the
bottom edge by the white thin strip into three parts - dark blue
staff, red and dark blue free. In the top part is Sared Ioann
Gots'kyi in white clothes, in staff and free is white
meandr."

Heraldry site:
"It was confirmed in August, 31st, 2006. Per fess by gules
and azure. Sacred Ioann Gots'kyi in argent closes. Or mountain in
the shape of laying bear drinking from the sea, on the argent
meandr, accompanied in the dexter chief by the head of the girl
pictured in antique Greek tradition.
Sacred Ioann Gots'kyi was born in Partenit and is patron of the
settlement. Bear-mountain is dominant natural object, original
card of a settlement and one of most known symbol of a Southern
coast of Crimea. The head of the girl reflects the name of a
settlement (in translation from Greek - "Maiden"), and
also reminds of the ancient people, leaved there and worshipping
to the goddess Maiden.
The red reflects courage, force and work, the azure symbolizes
beauty and greatness, and in the combination with argent waves -
dark blue sea and light-blue sky.
