A flag of black-white-black was used as the flag of Sudan Defense Force between 1925-1956 bearing a golden emblem in the centre. I believe that this later remained as the Headquarters flag of the Armed Forces.

Nozomi Kariyasu has reported similar flag from a Chinese flag book, but with the flag bearing two crossed golden swords in the center and with an Arabic inscription in the upper stripe.  This was labeled as a war flag, while Armed Forces flag was the current national flag with golden national emblem in the center and with an Arabic inscription of the shahada in the upper stripe.
