A possible flag of the "Astrakhanskii Port Company" - or the "Solyanka Port" - showing the cooperation between Iran and Russia. This port is in Russia, but Iran has a majority ownership interest: 53% of the shares belong to the Islamic Republic of Iran, 25% belong to the Russian government, and the rest belong to a public company and, in fact, to the Russian public. Astrakhan is a seaport in the city of Astrakhan in Astrakhan Oblast, Russia. The port is located in the Trusovsky District on the right shore of the Volga River. The center logo appears to be a ship's steering wheel ("helm") encapsulating a large unloading gantry crane ("ship-to-shore": STS crane) used to load and unload containers directly from or to ships on a dockside, with a small Russian flag just below the crane. There appear to be three Russian/Cyrillic words below the logo, probably the name of this port company; c. Dec. 2024.
