James Rawes e Companhia, Limitada (shortened to James Rawes & Cie Lda)
is a Portuguese shipping agency with HQ in Lisboa. Some company history
is here (in English): It was
established in 1860, probably by Englishman James Rawes.
This company has no ships of its own, acting as a general sales agent and
then, recently, as a preferred agent in Portugal for cruising companies.
They also do "full husbandry service" (which is not what you're thinking,
I guess) and agencing during dry-docking, also for cruise companies.
Apart from the Lisbon head office, it has offices in the seaports Leixóes
(Matosinhos, Oporto) and Sines, and "sub-offices in other ports (Aveiro,
Setúbal, Portimão, Viana do Castelo, a.o.). The company flag is hoisted
in Lisbon and perhaps also in the other offices .
