Shield Or an oven Sable masoned Argent and flamant Purpure surrounded by a laurel wreath Vert, issuant from base a throughout bridge Sable masoned Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE LOUREDO E FORNELOS".
Meaning:
The bridge on these arms comes from the arms of the former Louredo Commune while the (canting) oven comes from those of Fornelos Commune; the laurels are an additional canting element, for "louredo" means "bay laurel grove".

Louredo e Fornelos is one of the two communes of Santa Marta de Penaguião Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 520 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 12,17 km².

The arms are Or a bundle of five arrows pointing upwards Purpure tied Vert and two ovens Sable garnished Argent and heated Gules all set in chevron. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "FORNELOS - SANTA MARTA DE PENAGUIÃO"
Meaning:
"Fornelo" means "small oven", one of five communes thus named in Portugal and the patron of the local conterminous Catholic parish is St. Sebastian, whose attributes are arrows, therefore canting arms.
