It is a fairly typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain blue background (village rank).

The arms are Argent two towers Purpure set in fess masoned Argent with port and windows Argent and in base a basket Gules full with grapes Or leaved Vert and in chief a fleur de lis Azure between two bees Gules striped Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)
and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "FREGUESIA DE REDONDO".
Meaning:
The bees in chief share surely the same symbolism as those in the municipal arms.

Redondo Commune is one of the two communes of the homonym municipality (q.v.). It had 5763 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 307,94 km².
