Talhinhas Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Macedo de Cavaleiros Municipality; it had 173 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 25.3 km².
It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field.

Shield Vert two needles Or threaded Argent per saltire, in chief a lyre Or, in base a hand plane (the woodworking tool, not a paper airplane!) Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "BAGUEIXE". The shape of the scroll is not the most usual but the one favoured by heraldrist José Bénard Guedes
