Shield Or, a pillory Sable crowned by an orb of the same and flanked by a cross fleury Vert at dexter and an heraldic fountain at sinister. Mural crown with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading "GLÓRIA - ESTREMOZ" in black upper case letters.
Meaning:
The pillory is a representation of the Pelourinho do Canal, the oldest local monument. The fountain is representing the origin of the local Glória creek at Monte Branco Estate. The cross is alluding to the Avis Order, local ruler of nearly the whole municipality between 1250 and 1821.
