Shield Argent a shrimp-catcher Purpure, flanked on chief by a Greek cross Gules with three acorns Or capsuled Vert on every end of the bars, on base by a millstone Azure and on flanches by two grape bunches Purpure leafed Vert. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard-Guedes style, with inscription in black upper case serifed letters "SALIR DE MATOS".
Meaning:
The shrimp-catcher is taken from the arms of Queen Eleonora. The acorn cross is an attribute of St. Anthony, the local patron saint. The other charges refer to water power and viticulture.

Salir de Matos is one of the nine communes of Caldas da Rainha Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 2583 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 24,6 km².
