Czersk - urban-rural commune, Chojnice County, Pomorskie Voivodship - Kashubian name: Czérsk; name under German occupation: Heiderode (1942-45)
Gmina Czersk is an urban-rural gmina (commune) in Chojnice County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the town of Czersk, which lies approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Chojnice and 77 km (48 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Area: 379.85 sq.km (146.7 sq.mi); Population: 20,548 (2006).

Arms and flag adopted on December 19, 2002 (resolution #  II/22/02).
"Arms: shield divided horizontally: upper part is silver (white) with three fir trees and lower one is blue with three representations of silver (white) waves.
On the border of two parts there are: mill wheel and fragments of a dam (in black).

Flag: a rectangle in the ratio 5:8 composed of three bands: upper - green- 1/4 of the width, middle - white - 1/2 of the width, lower - blue - 1/4 of the width of the flag. In the center of the white (widest) band the Arms of Czersk are placed."
