Representative flag of the Yoreme-Mayo traditional authority, based on the Catholic faith interacting with the four nature elements: air, fire, water and earth. The flag was designed by Bartolo Mátuz Valencia). The flag is shown in every sing meeting held by the authorities of the "Eight Towns". Yellow represents sunlight and the universe as well Most Holy Trinity and Virgin of Guadalupe; white is for the Jesus Christ's robe, peace and Yoreme purity; while red is for the Jesus' blood and Mayo's. Moon is for water, star is for the air, the sun is for fire and cross is for earth, e. g. the four nature elements. The five stars around the cross are for the five misteries of humanity.
