Flag

Located in Hirosaki City Aomori Prefecture and established in 1949. The university flag has blue background with a gold and silver emblem in the center. A formal ceremonial flag is also used by the university. The emblem is a combination of the kanji word "大學" and the Tsugaru peony, the emblem of the Tsugaru family, the former lords of the Hirosaki domain.
