Description

Local Council Basmat-Tab'un (also known in its Hebrew name: Basmat-Tiv'on) is situated NE to Qiryat Tiv'on, in the Lower Galilee, watching Zvulun Valley. First Bedouin Local Council in Israel in 1965 with 4800 inh. In my visit there was no municipal flag. In further inquiries I was told that in case of need a blue emblem on white is used. This information needs further confirmation. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 3774, p. 3084, 17 June 1990.

Three neighboring Bedouin settlements were added to this Local Council: Masa'ikh Sa'ida tribe in 1985, Khilf tribe in 1992 and Zubidat tribe in 1995.
I have been there few timed more and yet never saw a municipal flag.
