Baqa El-Gharbiyye (meaning the Western Bouquet in
Arabic) is situated in east Sharon region, 12 km SE to Hadera and SW to Umm
Al-Fahm. Est. 1945, Local Council from 1952 and Municipality
since 1996. Pop: 18,000, almost all Muslims. In my visit I
spotted no flags and had to rely on second hand information which
did not know the colour of the emblem (my guess is green) so the
flag is only probable until further confirmation. The municipal
emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot),
'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP
3822, 6 December 1960. I used the published emblem even though
there is a different one in this
webpage.

According to the list of united or dissolved local authorities
published in the official gazette (Rashumot), section Sefer
Ha'Hukim 1897, 5 August 2003, Baqa El-Gharbiyye and Jatt are united into Municipality of
Baqa-Jatt.
The Probable Flag is now obsolete.
