The "Region Bodensee" includes:

Pascal Vagnat, 19 July 1999

Currently, a similar logo is in use by the The International Bodensee Conference (IBK), a cooperative association of the German states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, which border and are connected to Lake Constance, the Swiss cantons of Schaffhausen, St. Gallen, Thurgau, Zurich, Appenzell Ausserrhoden and Appenzell Innerrhoden, the Austrian federal state of Vorarlberg and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

The Bodensee (Lake Constance) Conference was founded in 1972 due to the need to coordinate across borders on environmental and water protection issues. Its aim is to preserve and promote the Lake Constance region as a living, natural, cultural and economic area and to strengthen regional solidarity across borders. As a platform for governments and administrations, the IBK forms the core of a network of cross-border cooperation in the Lake Constance region in the areas of environment, education, research, transport, economy, tourism or health and social affairs.

The International Bodensee Conference is trying to reduce border-related barriers and is coordinating a joint external presentation of the Euregio Bodensee. On December 15, 2017, the heads of government signed the IBK's mission statement and strategy for the Lake Constance region.
