The flag of Camarena (photo) is prescribed by an Order issued on 29 September
1993 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 15 October
1993 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 74, pp. 5,435-5,436 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 1:2, divided in four parts by the two diagonales, the lateral parts, red, the upper and the lower, white.
The coat of arms of Camarena is prescribed by an Order issued on 29
September 1993 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on
15 October 1993 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 74,
pp. 5,434-5,435 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules a bishop's crozier or, 2. Argent two bunches of grapes vert. Grafted in base, Azure a modern Mozarab cross argent. The shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown.
The Royal Academy of History validated the proposed symbols. The so-called
"modern Mozarab cross" is quite articifial and less-known. Its
suppression would not cause any damage to the coat of arms, but it can
be maintained.
