Saale county
Saalekreis is a county in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The district was established
by merging the former counties of Merseburg-Querfurt
and of Saalkreis as part of the administrative
reform of July 1, 2007
On the 1st Meeting of the parliament (Kreistag) of the county of Saalekreis
on July 11, 2007 was adopted by district statute (Hauptsatzung) the new
symbols.
