Shield Sable a stalked fleur-de-lis Or, abased superimposed by a fess chequered of Argent and Gules.
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St. Mary. Fleur-de-lis and chequered fess are alluding to the Cistercian Pielenhofen Nunnery, which existed until 1803 and was revived in 1838 by the Salesian Sisters from the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary. The current arms are known by seals of the Cistercian nunnery. They had been chosen due to the influence of the nunnery in the valley of the Naab River.
