Shield parted per pale, at dexter Azure a falcon statant Or with necklace Gules, at sinister Argent a chevron Sable, over all in base a fess wavy Or.
Meaning:
The falcon is the heraldic animal of the Counts of Falkenstein-Neuburg, important local rulers in the Medieval. The chevron is taken from the seal of the Lords of Westerham from the 14th century. A chevron had also been part of the arms of the Schaltorf kin, owners of Vagen Castle and important manorial lords from the middle of the 14th century until the beginning of the 16th century. The fess wavy is representing the Goldbacherl (= little golden creek) in the former municipality of Vagen.
