Coat of Arms:
Shield parted per fess, above Argent a forceps Gules in fess, beneath Azure a fess Argent charged with a bar Sable.
Meaning:
The forceps are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Amerang, local rulers between the 12th and 14th century. Fess and barrulet are taken from the arms of the Laiming kin, local rulers between the 14th and 16th century. Blue and white are the tinctures of Bayern.

The arms were approved on 11 June 1969 by Minister of Interior of Bayern. The banner was never approved officially.
