Shield Azure, a sinister bendy sword Argent hilted Or and a bendy key Argent in saltire, flanked by two heraldic roses Or seeded Azure, one in chief and one in base.
Meaning:
Rheinmünster was established in 1974 by a merger of Greffern, Schwarzach, Söllingen and Stollhofen. The arms are alluding to the church of Schwarzach Abbey, founded in the 8th century.The abbey was dissolved in 1803. Key and sword are the attributes of their patron saints, St. Peter and St.Paul. The roses are taken from the arms of the former Greffern municipality.
