Shield parted per pale; at dexter Argent, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, topped by an embattled tower Gules masoned Sable; at sinister parted per fess of Sable and Or two annulets in counterchanged tinctures.
Meaning:
On 1 January 1975 Häg and Ehrsberg merged. Both settlements belonged to the Lordship of Zell, ruled by the Lords of Schönau, since 1628 renamed Lords of Schönau-Zell. They became independent municipalities in 1811, after both had been acquired by Baden. The embattled tower is taken from the arms of Häg, adopted in 1895, representing Altenstein castle, which belonged to the Lords of Schönau since 1350. The annulets are a simplification of the family arms of the lords.
