Shield Argent, a trefoil Vert, issuant from a triplemount Gules, issuant from base.
Meaning:
Hilzingen belonged to Petershausen Abbey as an Austrian fiefdom since 1660 and became a possession of Baden together with the abbey in 1803. A print of the first municipal seal from 1811 already displayed a trefoil, but issuant from a flower bed. The trefoil also appeared in coloured municipal stamps through the 19th century. In 1902 the current pattern was fixed.
