Shield parted per fess of Gules and Argent, beneath charged with a fess wavy Azure, over all a spear and a mattock in saltire, both Or.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is a representation of the Amper River. Red and silver (white) are the tinctures of the Marshals of Wildenroth, who had pawned the namesake village between 1311 and 1319 and had some privileges, after the village was acquired by Fürstenfeld Abbey in 1322. The mattock is symbolising forest clearance alongside the river in Wildenroth. The spear is alluding to St. Rasso, who had been a Count of Dießen-Andechs. His grave is in the local pilgrimage church in Unteralting. The spear is also stressing that the area was ruled by local nobility kins.

The arms were approved on 9 October 1967 by Minister of Interior of Bayern for Wildenroth and confirmed together with the banner for Grafrath on 27 July 1995 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberbayern.
