Dřevohostice, Pŕerov district, Olomouc region - adopted 8 Jun 2004.
The first record on this village, situated on the boundary of Haná
and the Valašsko regions, dates back to 1326. The centre of village embodies
the square, parks, Renaissace Town Hall from 1521, and the manor with picturesque
door-jamb - the Haná folk building from the end 18th century. The visitors
of Dřevohostice are attracted by architecture of the Renaissance four-wing
château from the 16th century, with well-maintained front yard and moat.
The late-baroque church of St.Gallus (Svatý Havel) from the 18th century
is another remarkable site in the village.
