The flag illustrated above is of the Leduc/Devon Oilfield Historical Society and is displayed outside the Canadian Petroleum Discovery Centre located SW of Edmonton. The site of the Canadian Petroleum Discovery Centre is where the successful drilling of oil in Alberta at an oil derrick named Leduc #1 started this province's unprecedented economic growth.
