About the Flag

Eleven alternating red and blue horizontal stripes, with a yellow ascending diagonal across them, and in the upper hoist, a white square 5 stripes deep with the municipal arms.

The date on the scroll reads 1 March 1963, recalling the emancipation of Tapira from the municipality of Sacramento.
