Description of the flag

The flag is a horizontal bicolor of red and blue with a wavy bar of blue-white separated ether side. In the center is a white map of Michigan with the state name inscribed. A red star marks the township's place in Michigan. The township name and establishment year are inscribed beside the state. Overlying the state is an emblem made of a red field with a camp tent with a ring of 24 stars.
