Description of the Flag

Lake Burton is an unincorporated community centered on the man-made reservoir of the same name located inside of Rabun County. The flag, along with the burgees were designed in 2020 for Lake Burton's centennial anniversary. The flag was adopted by the Lake Burton Civic Association, the local community organization for permanent residents around the lake.

The flag is a enlarged version of the civic association logo. The logo depicts the lake with rolling hills in the background, and features a black border. On the lower fly side is the lake's name and establishment year.

Burgee

The burgee is similar in design to the flag, only the sky, mountains, and the lake are simplified into horizontal chevrons pointing towards the hoist side. In the center is the same name and establishment year.
