The municipality of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih goricah was formed in 2006 by secession from Lenart.

The flag and arms of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih goricah are prescribed by decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Občine Sveta Trojica v Sloveniskih Goricah, adopted on 23 October 2008 and published in the regional official gazette Medobčinski uradni vestnik, 31/2008 (with quality drawings).
The flag is divided yellow-red with the municipal coat of arms set in the middle. The horizontal and vertical versions are prescribed, both in proportions 1:2. The width of the coat of arms is half width of the flag, placed vertically in both version.
The colour specifications are:
- red: Pantone 128
- yellow: Pantone 200
- black.
The symbols were adopted after a public contest launched on 18 April 2008, with three prizes awarded as 200, 150 and 100 €. The proposed designs should take into account the previous symbols of the local community (then part of the municipality of Lenart) - I believe that these are the same symbols that were noted in use in 2006 and 2007 -, simplify them taking into account the heraldic norms etc. The contest was to be closed on 19 May 2008; however, probably since no proposals were received (or no satisfactory proposals, in any case), the contest's deadline was extended to 15 July by Decision adopted on 2 June. The prizes were raised to 500, 300 and 150 €.

Coat of arms of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih goricah - Image by Željko Heimer, 10 January 2009
The coat of arms of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih goricah is "Or three baroque belfries roofed gules issuant from the base".
It symbolizes the the church of St. Trinity with three belfries
alluding to the Trinity - the most characteristic of the municipality and
its namesake -, just as the previous, provisional symbols did.

Provisional flag and arms of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih goricah - Images by Željko Heimer, 30 December 2007
A flag of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih goricah was shown in two
occasions during a short TV documentary, once hoisted vertically
(together with Slovenian and EU flags) in front of the (presumably)
municipality building. The second occasion was (the same) three table
flags hoisted in the middle of a conference table. In both occasions
the municipal flag was well visible.
According to the documents available on the municipal website (minutes from the council sessions), it seems obvious that the municipality does not consider these symbols as permanent; the Mayor answered to several council members' questions regarding the symbols (and their setting on road signs etc.) that the current symbols are provisional only and that the permanent are yet to be adopted.
The provisional flag of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih goricah is vertically divided green-white-red-white-green, in approximative proportions 5:2:2:2:5, with the municipal coat of arms set in the middle (ca. 10 units wide).
The coat of arms of Sveta Trojica v Slovenskih gorica, as shown on the municipal website, is "Argent a baroque church argent with three belfries roofed gules flanked with trees vert and in the base houses argent roofed gules raising from a triple mount per fess vert and azure fimbriated argent".
