Shield Argent at dexter a pair of olive twigs Vert fructed Sable crossed per saltire, at sinister a grape bunch Purple leafed Vert, in chief a tau cross Sable and in base a hunting bugle horn Gules cordoned Or.Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard-Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "DESEJOSA"
Meaning:
The tau cross is an attribute of St. Anthony of Thebes, also called Anthony the Great. Olive twigs and grape bunch represent agiculture, especially the production of oil and wines. The horn is referring to the local area of hunting, still practised today.

Desejosa is one of the nine communes of Tabuaço Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 117 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 7,7 km².
