Shield Or a saltire Vert accompanied by three port wine chalices Gules and in base by a row boat Sable garnished Argent with oars. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "PARADA DO BISPO".
Meaning:
The chalices are a representation of the famous local port wine. The boat is a representation of the Douro River and his importance for the local development, economy and traffic. The saltire is an attribute of St. Andrew, the local patron saint.
