Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE CEPÕES, MEIJINHOS E MELCÕES".
Meaning:
The newly created arms are also themselves a hybrid of those previous ones — such as in this case: The stumps from Cepões, the main cross from Meijinhos, and the
chief canton charges from Melcões.

Cepões, Meijinhos e Melcões is one of the four communes of Lamego Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 970 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 10,96 km².

Meaning:
The word "cepões" is the plural of an augmentative of "cepo", meaning "stump", usually "tree stump". The arms are therefore partly canting.
