Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Vert, a Latin cross Or, in dexter chief three bezants ordered 2:1 and each one charged with three pitch drops ordered 1:2 (would be "gutté de poix", if it would cover the whole shield), in sinister chief a wheat ear and a corn cob, both Or and crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PRAIA DO ALMOXARIFE - HORTA".
