The arms are Gules two fern fronds Argent with their stems per saltire and flanking a coronet Or garnished Sable in chief and in base a plough Or garnished Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "REGUENGO DO FETAL".
Meaning:
The ferns are symbolizing the abundance of that species in the region and they are a canting element, because "reguengo do fetal" means "ferngrove crownland".
