Flag: white with a black cross with arms of 1/5 flagheight, of which
one arm is at 1/3 flaglength, with a yellow canton charged with a red open
lozenge of 3/10 flagheight, and in the other quarters an adjacent black
disk of 3/10 flagheight.
adopted 28 Mar 1992 by municipal resolution; design: Stichting Banistiek.
Since 1 Jan 2007 part of Lansingerland.

Old flag: two equally wide horizontal stripes: top red, bottom yellow,
with on red at the hoist the municipal arms.
adopted 14 Feb 1974.
This is probably a revival of the 1938 parading flag for the celebrations
of Queen Wilhelmina's 40 years of (stern) reign. Red and yellow were the
provincial colors.
